The short version: Calm Dog keeps what you tell it on your device. There is no account and we run no server of our own. The only outside parties involved are Google Play and RevenueCat, and only to handle subscriptions. There are no ads and no cross-app tracking.

This policy explains how the Calm Dog mobile app ("the app", "we") handles information. The app is provided by Jure Sršen (the "data controller"). Questions: astartis-support@agentmail.to.

Information stored only on your device

Saved locally using your device's standard app storage. It is not transmitted to us or anyone else, and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data:

• Your setup answers — whether you are calming a dog, a cat, or both, and the main trigger you picked.
• Your pet's name, if you choose to enter one. It is optional, it is only used to personalise what the app shows you, and it never leaves your device.
• Preferences — volume, timers, and your own sound mixes.
• A few simple counters, such as how many times the app has been opened, used only to decide when to ask you for a Play Store review.

Information processed by third parties

Used only to provide the feature you request:

• RevenueCat — for subscriptions, RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous app-user identifier, your purchase and entitlement status, and basic device and platform information. It does not receive your name, your email, or your pet's name. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
• Google Play Billing — Google processes any payment; we never see or store your payment details. Google may also give us aggregated, anonymous statistics about installs and crashes, which we cannot connect to any individual.

What we do not do

The app contains no advertising, no cross-app tracking, and no login or user accounts. We do not sell or share personal data, and we do not use your data for advertising. The app currently includes no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs; if that ever changes, this policy and the app's Play Data safety declaration will be updated in the same release that introduces it.

Legal basis & your rights (GDPR/EEA)

Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis is performance of the subscription contract and our legitimate interest in operating the app. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data and to object to processing. Almost everything lives on your device — erase it any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling. For subscription records held by RevenueCat or Google, contact us at the email above and we will assist, or contact those providers directly.

Data retention & international processing

On-device data is kept until you remove it. Data processed by RevenueCat and Google is retained under their own policies and may be processed on servers outside your country, including outside the EEA, under appropriate safeguards.

Children

Calm Dog is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be reflected in the app or here.

A note on what this app is

Calm Dog plays gentle, looping sounds to help a pet feel more at ease during stressful moments. It is a comfort and wellbeing tool — not a medical or veterinary product — and it does not diagnose or treat any condition. If your pet is distressed, speak to your vet.
